NJ law has expanded opportunities to exercise your right to vote. This new option allows registered voters to cast their ballot in person, using a voting machine, during a nine-day period prior to Election Day. You can now choose to vote, in person, when it’s most convenient for your schedule.

Every county will provide registered voters with this option for the 2021 General Election. They will designate in-person early voting locations that will be open

  • Saturday, October 23 through Sunday, October 31.
  • Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Jersey City's voter turnout has been historically too low.

Jersey City voter turnout is historically too low.

For example, in the last mayoral election,

  • 73% of registered voters didn't vote
  • 21% of registered voters decided the outcome

In 2021, let's shift the paradigm and increase turnout.

You can take 3 actions:

  • REGISTER to vote by October 12th
  • VOTE on or before election day
